Games

I was first introduced to Scratch in school, which sparked my interest in making my own games. From there, I taught myself Python, Unity, and more through YouTube tutorials. If only I had all the time in the world to bring all my ideas to life!

February to June 2025

Won 1st Place at the Primary Mathematics Project Competition (PMPC) with our game, Math Warrior.

We coded the game in Scratch over four months. It wasn't easy, but we supported each other along the way, learning through YouTube tutorials and giving each other feedback. We held several playtesting sessions during lessons and refined the game based on feedback from our classmates.

August 2024

I was delighted to showcase my game, Killer Litter Kim, at our school's National Day funfair. We set up a booth with iPads for students to play, with exciting prizes up for grabs and it was a hit!

This game was adapted from an earlier Unity project, with all assets newly drawn in Procreate. I wanted it to have a Gabrielite boy in a HDB town to make it more local, so I drew him and everything else from scratch!

03 Replit Undertale

Inspired by Undertale (a role-playing video game), I built a text-based game on Replit using Python. This was my first attempt to make a game on Python using everything I have learnt. I found many bugs, but I also learnt from them to find more efficient ways to write script. I plan on improving it after PSLE ends!

I made this game using Scratch about a dragon fighting wizards when I was in Primary 3. I was also my own voice actor as the hissing dragon!

February 2024

My family played a lot of Gloomhaven last holiday. Inspired by the board game, I made a pen and paper game to play with my friends in school.

Players create their own characters to battle monsters across different locations. My friends and I often spent our recess breaks playing it together.
